In this episode of The Story Project, we're joined by Dr. Tiffany Lamberton, whose journey into dentistry is shaped by a rich family heritage in the field. Despite her family background, Dr. Lamberton initially pursued a career in physical therapy. After feeling unfulfilled in her career, she decided to pivot and pursue dentistry which gave her a unique, dual perspective on patient care.
Dr. Lamberton's professional evolution shifted towards a holistic dental approach focused on early detection and prevention. She harnesses the latest in digital dentistry and imaging technology to detect issues like TMJ early on, aiming to transform children's lives by raising awareness and intervening proactively.
She is passionate about treating each individual like family and guiding them to optimal health resources. Her upcoming initiative to unite women in dentistry reflects her commitment to fostering collaboration and empowerment within the dental community, ensuring a brighter future for dental healthcare.
Dr. Tiffany Lamberton holds dual degrees in Physical Therapy and Dentistry, both from Loma Linda University. She is passionate about educating dentists and other healthcare professionals through her podcast "Jaw Talk with Dr. Tiffany" and her business TMD Collective®. She has lectured for the Pacific Northwest Dental Convention and will be a featured speaker at WOCON (Western Ortho Conference) in November 2024. She is the Treasurer for the Pierce County Dental Society and is a member of ADA, WSDA and the Chicago Study Club. She lives with her husband, two children, and adorable Cavapoo puppy, Wookie, and loves wake surfing, snowboarding, and Pilates.
